Dr. Natasha Poon graduated from National University of Singapore in 2013, with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Dentistry (GDGD) in 2021.

After graduating in 2013, Dr. Poon worked at National Healthcare Group Polyclinics (NHGP), Health Promotion Board (HPB) and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). While in the public sector, Dr Poon had the opportunity to build up her professional expertise in preventive and restorative care, as well as to enhance her soft skills in human relationships with the continual engagements with patients. Her attachment with KKH was especially enriching in that beside engendering an affinity in communicating with younger children, she was able to provide specific dental care and treatment peculiar to this group of individuals.

Besides having an interest in treating young children, Dr. Poon also found fulfilment treating patients in their golden years, but it was when she joined the private sector working mainly in heartland clinics where there is a preponderance of senior citizens residing that she found the calling to profound her dental acuity in Geriatric.

In 2021 she graduated with a Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Dentistry, in which this speciality training has well equipped her with skills and experience in providing holistic care and treatment to the senior citizens and those soon to be seniors, with the aspiration of imbuing them with an improved quality of life in their golden years!

In her free time, Dr. Poon enjoys travelling, her favourite country is Japan. She has a strong interest in Japanese culture and has picked up conversational Japanese which she further enhances its fluidity through her frequent visits to Japan.

Although Dr. Poon’s professional skillset is biased towards the “young” and “old”, she firmly believes that “Every patient is an Important Patient”, therefore she strives to afford to all her patients whenever possible a pleasant and enjoyable dental care journey.
